What is the Calendar of the Future?
This year at Angarde, we are diverting the traditional Advent Calendar into a Calendar of the Future!
From December 1st to 25th, every day an environmental NGO from 1% For the Planet will be supported and 1% of our turnover for the day will be donated to it.
Since 2014, Angarde has been involved with Surfrider Foundation Europe , which fights daily to protect the oceans from all forms of pollution. Thanks to 1% For the Planet, we donate 1% of our turnover to them, whether our results are good or bad.
This year for Christmas, we decided to go even further in our approach and support NGOs with different missions every day.
How did we choose the 25 NGOs?
Among the hundreds and hundreds of associations represented by the 1% For The Planet movement, the entire Angarde team played the game to choose the 25 NGOs supported as part of our Calendar of the Future.
The choices were made based on the interests, origins of each of us, and Angarde values in order to create a calendar that resembles us and is close to our hearts.
For example, the answer was inevitable for Astrid & Jade who come from Switzerland: it was necessary to defend and promote the specificity, beauty and richness of mountain spaces.
We all agreed to support NGOs that address different themes such as climate, recycling, natural spaces, the environment or even pollution... in short, themes in line with the values of Angarde and the entire community. team.
Obviously keeping at the heart of our Calendar of the Future, the NGO that we have supported for several years: Surfrider Foundation Europe, which fights daily to preserve the oceans from all forms of pollution.
These 25 NGOs make sense with our approach: working for a more sustainable future and we are proud to support them at the end of 2022.

Friends of the Earth has been fighting for more than 50 years for the environment and human rights! Through awareness-raising actions, the production of surveys, political advocacy and citizen mobilization, around themes such as agriculture, overproduction or energy.
