At Angarde, we have created a vibrant and colorful Loungewear collection that is both comfortable and stylish! As the spring season arrives, bringing warmth and light, we are reinventing the art of relaxation with a complete, sustainable, and casual line. From a simple sweatshirt to lurex espadrilles, we have designed the cuts and materials to create a collection that can be worn both at home and outdoors, whether you're at the beach or in the city. We have left behind the classic black and white to embrace bold colors like fuchsia pink, mint green, and bright yellow. This collection, made entirely from organic cotton, is eco-friendly, ethical, and ensures that comfort does not come at the expense of style or fashion trends. Designed in France and made in Europe, this collection transcends the realm of indoor pajamas to bring softness and elegance to the summer and a relaxed, chic look. How did we come up with the Loungewear collection? After the success of the colorful collections launched last year, we were even more inspired to create a burst of colors and light for the return of summer. We worked on the models and textures to offer pieces suitable for both the coolness of early summer days and the heat of the hottest days! Wherever you are this summer, whatever your plans, you will find a piece from the Angarde men's Loungewear collection that suits your activity. The first step was really a focus on materials, finding beautiful textures, high-quality fabrics, and durable materials. Because cotton is undoubtedly the most pleasant material to wear in summer, it was our first choice. We decided to create a series of unisex, responsible tops, including a long-sleeved sweatshirt, a short-sleeved T-shirt, and a sleeveless tank top. They are soft and fluid, with wide and ultra-comfortable cuts. Next, we wanted to work with slightly stronger materials, so we chose to use terry cloth. Terry cloth was truly synonymous with vacations and summer, and we love to slip into its cozy embrace, both soft and light. Whether it's the shirt, shorts, or skirt, you can wear them in a vacation mood with a full terry cloth look, or in a more urban look with jeans or a suitable top. For our pants and skirts, we chose a lightweight, crisp, and luminous canvas fabric. The goal was to create a piece that is a bit more elegant but just as comfortable, hence the choice of this material! You can wear them both at home and outdoors. Where was the Loungewear collection created? The women's Loungewear line was designed in our Paris offices and manufactured in our workshop in Guimaraes, Portugal. This region is renowned for its workshops with expertise in ready-to-wear clothing. These workshops are known for both the quality of their production and their commitment to the environment. We only choose workshops in Europe, in Spain for shoes and in Portugal for clothing, so that our products do not travel around the world before reaching you. We also know that thanks to the expertise of our production workshops, we are able to create pieces that are solid and of high quality. The first step towards more responsible fashion remains creating clothing that can be worn in various conditions and does not deteriorate after just one season. This is achieved through the choice of high-quality materials, with sufficient grammage and resistant thread, but also through the quality of the seams and embroidery. For example, for our T-shirts, we decided to add a cotton binding on the collar, long enough to preserve the shape of the collar and prevent it from deforming with wear. A durable collection from A to Z: We have decided to create the most eco-friendly and durable line possible. This is achieved through responsible production, durable and certified materials, but also through attention to detail. For example, the canvas used for the pants and skirt is GOTS certified. GOTS certification is the most demanding in terms of traceability and eco-responsibility. It inspects every step of the production process. This means that not only the production of the fabric but also the dyeing, cutting, and production are controlled, ensuring a sustainable and responsible production in terms of environmental and social standards. Our entire Loungewear collection is made from organic cotton to create a line that does not compromise between fashion, style, and comfort. The ethical dimension is just as important at Angarde as the eco-responsible commitment, which is reflected in our engagement with B-Corp certification, whose actions are as much in the development of a sustainable collection as in the respect for collaborators, producers, and our suppliers. Similarly, we are committed to finding the most sustainable solutions from manufacturing to delivery. We ensure that our packaging supplier offers sustainable solutions, reducing plastic as much as possible. How is the Loungewear collection composed at Angarde? Since the first homewear collection launched last winter, we really wanted to create a durable and unisex collection that meets the needs of both men and women. We wanted a collection that is accessible and easy to integrate into your wardrobe. With its vibrant colors and simple, comfortable style, we have created a collection that celebrates spring and the return of colors! We said goodbye to black to make room for mint, fuchsia, and navy colors. Each piece was designed in continuity with our winter line of Tencel pajamas or certified organic cotton slippers that we launched this winter. We created a capsule collection in terry cloth in three colors for women and two for men, with the women's collection also featuring a terry cloth skirt that is not present in the men's collection. Both collections include a range of short-sleeved T-shirts, sweatshirts, and tank tops, as well as canvas pants and Tencel shorts. The women's collection also includes a long skirt made from certified organic cotton. All our pieces are available in sizes XXS to XL for both men and women. These models have standard sizes, choose your usual size. However, if you have any doubts, do not hesitate to consult our size guide, as some models have a rather oversized style. What material is the Loungewear line made of at Angarde? We decided to use mainly organic cotton textiles for several reasons. Firstly, cotton is a natural fiber known for its softness and lightness. Therefore, we decided to use different cotton-based textiles, including a soft fleece for the long-sleeved sweatshirt, a simple jersey for the T-shirt, and a ribbed fabric for the tank top. Next, for the pants and skirt, we chose a slightly crisp and very lightweight canvas fabric. For the terry cloth ensemble, we also chose an organic cotton fiber to be particularly breathable and absorbent. In fact, if the material is very light, it may seem thin, but it is ultimately perfect for the beach: a shirt to slip over your swimsuit. For this reason, we preferred a light cotton over another natural material. Linen, wool, and hemp are also very pleasant and characteristic materials, but their price is much higher compared to organic cotton. The choice of cotton allows us to offer high-quality materials while maintaining our ethical and responsible commitments to our customers and suppliers. Where to discover our Loungewear collection?
