You often ask us...

Why Choose a Cotton/Tencel Blend for These Pyjamas?

+
-

Beyond being eco-friendly, Tencel and cotton are two fibers with properties that are both similar and complementary. Both are very soft, hypoallergenic, durable, and breathable. Tencel is often compared to silk because of its slightly shiny appearance, while cotton adds structure to the fabric. Knitted together, you'll find all these virtues in your pyjamas, which are ultra-comfortable and have a perfect drape.

Where Are our Pyjamas Produced?

+
-

Our ready-to-wear manufacturers are located in the Guimarães region, in northern Portugal, a major textile hub. All our partners, whether for materials (textiles and technical), accessories, packaging, or logistics, are selected in France or Europe for their expertise and commitment to the planet.

How Do Angarde Pyjamas Fit?

+
-

Angarde pyjamas fit true to size. If the fabric is rather flexible, it will not deform over time thanks to the cotton, which provides structure with each wash.

The men's pajamas made of cotton and Tencel.

At Angarde, we're building a nighttime universe where men's cotton pajamas hold the prominence of daytime clothing, combining eco-responsibility, quality, and elegance. These pajamas consist of a long-sleeved henley and a stylish indoor pant.

Why Did We Launch a Collection of Men's Pyjama?

At Angarde, we're always looking for new ideas to offer interior articles. Historically focused on shoes, we asked ourselves, "What should be the next step for Angarde?" We were truly captivated by the idea that a homewear collection could come from you, extending the Angarde experience to indoor clothing. It really made us feel connected to our community. However, we didn't want this collection to be limited to the nighttime universe. When we brainstormed what we wanted for this collection, we truly considered the different uses of men's pyjamas. So, we thought of creating a garment to be worn for both sleeping and telecommuting.

How Did We Design Our Men's Pyjamas?

This homewear collection was Angarde's XXL ambition this year! The goal of these cotton and Tencel men's pyjamas was to create a complementary piece to our slippers, showcasing an indoor wardrobe that differs from traditional checkered or printed pattern pyjamas. We wanted it to adapt to all desires with the option of striped pattern pyjama shorts, whose colors match those of the men's pyjamas.

The Henley as the Top of Men's Pyjamas

So, we decided to go with a long-sleeved top with a crafted collar to give it structure. However, we decided to make a collar that is softer and more comfortable than that of a shirt or polo, which is why we took inspiration from henleys. These long-sleeved tops with buttoned collars were originally considered underwear and known for their comfort. While jersey is the preferred material for the henley or simple T-shirt, we chose a meshed cotton/Tencel blend for its warm and soft feel. We chose not to print on these items for a more elegant and high-quality overall look.

The Bottom of Pyjamas: Indoor Pants for every Occasions

When we designed our pyjama trousers, we kept in mind that they should primarily be indoor trousers. Many men prefer to sleep naked or in boxers, but it can be wise to have trousers to wear when you have company or on vacation. So, this men's pyjama bottom is structured with pockets and a mock fly to meet these kinds of situations. It also has a flexible elastic waistband to avoid squeezing the stomach at night. If you're not a fan of the pants option, our pyjama shorts can easily take their place on your wishlist!

How to Choose My Men's Pyjamas?

To choose pyjamas, regardless of the brand, you must first ensure that you know your size well. Indeed, pyjamas are meant to be comfortable; they shouldn't be too tight. Also, just because pyjamas are indoor wear doesn't mean they can't make you look good, so don't aim too big!

What Size to Choose for Angarde Men's Pyjamas ?
These cotton men's pyjamas are available in various colors from sizes S to XL. We advise you to stick to your size; for example, even if you are a small XXL, XL will probably be too tight. For size advice, we invite you to contact us or read the reviews on our website.

What Color to Choose for My Angarde Men's Pyjamas?

For pyjamas, three colors are available: beige, navy, and matcha, which you can match with long-sleeved tops and pyjama bottoms, or with our shorts, according to your preferences. We really wanted to move away from traditional white, black, and gray, or even classic patterned prints like checkers. In general, a print will be associated with a childish universe, while a dark solid color will be more associated with masculinity and seduction. Choose the color based on your preferences and complexion, and consider the mix and match option with your partner! Matching pyjama sets are very popular on couples' wishlists! Don't hesitate to complete your wishlist with our other new items like velvet or leather slippers, whose colors perfectly match the striped patterns of our shorts or the solids of our men's pyjamas./p>

Where Does the Material for Our Men's Pyjamas Come From?

For once, there's no need to search your entire atlas to find the origin of a material: it comes straight from Portugal! The Tencel fibers, here certified by Lenzing, come from wood cellulose, dissolved in a non-toxic solvent. Since this solvent is recovered at 99.77%, Tencel is produced in a nearly closed loop system. The pine, eucalyptus, and bamboo forests used for Tencel production are specifically planted and certified as sustainable. Additionally, these are species that do not require intensive irrigation. Another XXL ambition at Angarde is to offer you a coherent choice of articles, where the prominence of each garment comes primarily from the premium quality of the material used, without compromising on style or elegance.

All these reasons make Tencel a fiber with low environmental impact. The cotton used in this blend is certified organic (OCS). It is therefore less water-consuming than conventional cotton and does not pose health problems for workers or people living near the fields. Additionally, being cheaper than Tencel, it allows us to offer you high-quality cotton Tencel men's pyjamas at an affordable price.

Why Choose a Cotton and Tencel Blend?

When choosing your new men's pyjamas, it's essential that they are suitable for the season, whether summer or winter, meaning their texture keeps you at the right temperature. Fleece and fleece tend to keep you particularly warm. Plastic materials tend to make you sweat and don't ventilate the skin enough. Whether you opt for long-sleeved pyjamas or pyjama shorts, the cotton Tencel interlock gives a soft and supple texture to our men's pyjamas without compromising on an elegant cut and crafted collar.

What Is the Benefit of Cotton and Tencel Interlock?

Why choose this cotton/Tencel interlock? Because, beyond being eco-friendly, Tencel and cotton are two fibers with properties that are both similar and complementary. Both are very soft, hypoallergenic, durable, and breathable. Tencel is often compared to silk because of its slightly shiny appearance, while cotton adds structure to the material, perfect for a men's pyjama that's much more comfortable than a simple shirt. This combination of Tencel and cotton makes it a much more resistant and durable material than a simple jersey often used for men's cotton pyjamas.
