An anthracite-colored candle made 100% handmade in Marseille from local and environmentally friendly products in a minimalist approach, with a Musc scent, from Grasse. Burning time: 20 hours.

RAL certified lead-free cotton wick (combustion quality label for a soot-free, healthier and more complete burn)
Without CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic substances for reproduction)
As the candles are made entirely by hand, they may vary slightly in color, there may be small marbling, holes, etc. this is what gives them their charm and makes them unique!

After burning, trim the wick regularly to prevent it from drowning in the wax or producing black smoke during combustion. Replace the lid on the concrete candle after each use to preserve its scent.

Shipping: orders are dispatched within 48 business hours.
Delivery fees: free for orders over 110€ in mainland France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Germany, otherwise starting from 2.90€.
Exchanges: free within 30 days in mainland France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Returns: refunds are available within 30 days. A 3.90€ return fee applies and will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Returns for a refund are at the customer’s expense for other countries (exchanges are not available).

Audrey, creator of well-being

In 2019, Audrey, at the age of 23, experienced a professional burn-out which led her to entrepreneurship. With a passion for architecture and craftsmanship, she felt the need to create something with her own hands and work in a more serene environment. Thus, Akara was born in 2020, named after Lake Kara in Tajikistan, as a brand of handmade, minimalist, and responsible candles.

Candles made in Marseille

The production of the candles is entirely handmade in Audrey's workshop in Marseille. The rapeseed wax is certified non-GMO, the concrete is produced from 100% local resources, the cotton wicks are certified lead-free, the fragrances come from Grasse and the packaging is made from recycled paper... everything is done in an environmentally friendly approach.
