At Angarde, we are proud to present our new collection of eco-friendly men's shoes, featuring espadrilles, mules, and slippers. These shoes are made from natural materials, mostly sourced from organic farming or recycled materials. We've created a collection in linen, cotton, leather, wool, and terry cloth, all in vibrant colors, alongside timeless shades like black and white. Whether you're going for an old-school style or a more modern and fashionable look, our collection will accompany you both indoors with our slippers and outdoors with our summer models. Our shoes, espadrilles, slippers, and mules are designed in France, in Paris, and crafted in Europe. They are carefully made in our workshops in Spain, reflecting artisanal craftsmanship, ethical production, and an eco-conscious approach.

How did we design this eco-friendly shoe collection?
For this summer collection, we carefully selected high-quality natural and recycled materials for our men's espadrilles, mules, and slippers. The leather used for our espadrilles and slippers is a beautiful quality suede, easy to maintain, and made in Italy. Our soles are crafted from natural rubber, responsibly sourced. The terry cloth on our espadrilles is made from bamboo fibers, making them exceptionally soft and absorbent, perfect for the summer heat. Our classic espadrille comes in a range of colors and is made from organic cotton.
For our winter shoes, we equally focus on eco-responsible materials such as wool and leather. Wool is an excellent material—it is antibacterial, odor-resistant, and thermoregulating. A pair of wool slippers, soft and comfortable, is perfect for when you return home in winter after a long day wearing sneakers or boots that don’t necessarily keep you warm.
The men's mule is a more “fashionable” style with a modern cut and practical design. A pair of mules can be just as stylish as sneakers or boots, while still offering the comfort of slippers. Easier to slip on than espadrilles and more distinctive than flip-flops, mules are an aesthetic choice that can complete a stylish look.

These shoes are designed to complement our loungewear and homewear collections, which are created in our workshops in Portugal, following the same environmental and ethical standards. What is the style of our eco-friendly espadrilles and slippers?
Our eco-friendly espadrilles are perfect for sunny days. With their rubber soles and jute rope braiding, they combine comfort and elegance. For a fun family or couple look, check out our sustainable shoes for women as well. Our eco-friendly mules, on the other hand, are ideal for lounging at home or for a casual outing. Finally, our eco-friendly slippers will provide optimal comfort throughout the day, thanks to their memory foam insoles. We believe that while sneakers are versatile and easy to wear, it’s sometimes refreshing to replace them with shoes designed to better withstand both cold weather and heatwaves. The summer espadrilles and mules are light, while our slippers are soft and warm.
We work year-round to offer you shoes in a variety of vibrant and timeless colors. Apart from brown, black, and white, we also offer fuchsia, mint green, red, gray, and blue. Our blue and beige slippers, which are bestsellers, are available for both men and women.
We’ve worked on the cut of our shoes to ensure they’re low-profile and lightweight, drawing inspiration from the comfort of sneakers as well as traditional espadrilles. We’ve maintained the craftsmanship from our sneaker workshops to create rubber soles that are ultra-comfortable and durable. We’ve found specialists for each of our materials to achieve an optimal result, whether in leather, wool, or cotton.
How to choose the right model?
If you’re unsure between several Angarde models, the first question to ask yourself is: What season do you plan to wear your Angarde shoes? If you’re looking for slippers for winter, it depends on the look you want to achieve. Wool is perfect for any situation and easy to care for. Leather slippers are ideal for adding a touch of elegance to your outfit. Velvet slippers are lined with organic cotton for an ultra-soft feel. Our sherpa collection is all white with brown, black, or burgundy trim.
Mules are super comfortable to wear, but if you have a wider foot, you might have trouble slipping them on. We recommend you look into our espadrille and slipper models instead.
Slippers are perfect for home wear. Our leather slipper range is by far the most elegant! Espadrilles are the most comfortable to wear in summer, lightweight with water- and wear-resistant soles. We also offer a selection of alternative insoles, in cotton or bamboo terry!
