We recommend that you first regularly waterproof your espadrilles to protect them from dust and dirt. If you have a stain, remove the insole: rinse them under warm water and scrub the stain with a nail brush, water and soap. Dry them in the open air, away from the sun and a heat source, with newspaper inside to help the espadrilles regain their shape. After crushing used plastic bottles, a textile thread is woven to create a fabric that resembles cotton canvas but is easier to clean and breathable. It takes about 3 used plastic bottles to make the upper part (the vamp) of your Espadrille R.
