Focus on our Tencel
Our Tencel comes from Somelos inPortugal, a family business founded in 1958. Tencel fibers, here certified Lenzing, come from wood cellulose, dissolved in a non-toxic solvent. This solvent being recovered at 99.77%, Tencel is produced in a circuit at quasi-closed loop. The pine, eucalyptus and bamboo forests used to make Tencel are specifically planted and are certified sustainable. In addition, these are species that do not need intensive irrigation. All these reasons make Tencel a fiber with low environmental impact.
Why this choice of Oxford? Initially used on shirts, it is one of the most resistantweaves. It is also distinguished by the softness it brings to the finished material and its ease of maintenance, it is hypoallergenic and breathable.
Expert European partners
Our ready-to-wear manufacturers are located in the Guimarães region in northern Portugal, a major textile hub. All of our partners, whether for materials (textiles and techniques), accessories, our packaging or our logistics, are selected in France or in Europe for their know-how and their commitment to the planet.
Surfrider Foundation Europe
We are a member of the international collective “1% for the Planet”. We redistribute 1% of our turnover to the NGO Surfrider Foundation which fights for the preservation of the oceans.
