Why did we create durable and eco-responsible pairs?
+
-
95% of pairs thrown in the trash in France end up incinerated or buried in the ground. We have therefore created our models so that they have a low impact on the environment and so that they last you as long as possible. This is why our models are timeless, designed with carefully chosen materials and produced by the best craftsmen to ensure the best quality.
What materials are used for my Angarde pairs?
+
-
We favor natural, recycled, environmentally friendly materials for the design of our products, such as recycled linen and cotton, vegetable alternating leathers and recycled wool. We invite you to consult our Materials page, which details their provenance.
How is the production of Angarde pairs going?

-
Angarde loungewear is manufactured in Portugal in a selection of workshops where production is carried out under ethical conditions. The integrity of the products in this range is vegan, organic, and ethical.
How can I have my pair delivered?
+
-
Several options are available to you: to your home with standard or express delivery, or to a relay point. Delivery costs vary depending on the option chosen, and are free in mainland France from 90€ of purchase. For standard delivery in mainland France, your package will be shipped within 48 hours.
At Angarde, we strive every day to innovate and develop a more environmentally responsible fashion, fighting against the movement of fast fashion. We have thus established a selection of products made from organic fabric. These products form a collection for both men and women, essentially composed of organic cotton, such as our shorts, our shirt, our T-shirt, or our tank top. This entire range of homewear and loungewear clothing for women is manufactured in Portugal

Which Textile Fibers Are the Most Environmentally Responsible?
For eco-responsible fashion, it is crucial to select ecological primary materials. Among the most environmentally responsible textile fibers, we can mention organic cotton, used in our women's loungewear collection, which is cultivated without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, thus protecting the health of farmers and ecosystems. Linen, a natural fiber that requires neither irrigation nor chemical substances for its cultivation, is also biodegradable and recyclable. Hemp, strong and resistant, grows rapidly without the need for pesticides or fertilizers and consumes very little water. Tencel (Lyocell), derived from eucalyptus pulp, a fast-growing tree that does not require irrigation, is also ecological thanks to a manufacturing process using a non-toxic and recyclable solvent. Finally, recycled wool contributes to reducing the consumption of water and energy needed to produce new fibers.
How to Adopt an Eco-Responsible Style for Women?
To create an eco-responsible look, it is important to prioritize clothing made from ecological materials and brands engaged in an ethical approach. Among the women's clothing to choose from, we can suggest jeans or T-shirts made from organic cotton, a linen shirt that is light and breathable, ideal for sunny days, a recycled wool sweater for winter, a Tencel T-shirt that is soft, light, and breathable, or a hemp coat, a resistant and insulating material, perfect for winter.
Several good practices should be adopted when looking for eco-responsible clothing for women, such as prioritizing natural, organic, or recycled materials. It is also important to consider the origin of the materials: favor those made in European workshops. Made in France is not systematically synonymous with eco-responsibility. We manufacture our women's shoe collection in Spain and our ready-to-wear line in Portugal.
Details are important because they not only add a touch of style but also ensure the solidity and durability of a garment. For example, the quality of the finish of a shirt collar or the pockets of pants ensures longevity. We have, for example, added a quality rib to the collar of our women's sweatshirt to prevent it from deforming.
How to Ensure the Ethics and Durability of the Manufacturing of My Women's Clothing?
To ensure that your clothing is produced ethically and durably, several actions are possible. First, verify the labels and certifications such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), Oeko-Tex, or Fairtrade, which attest to the respect of social and environmental criteria in the production of clothing. We provide on each product sheet a card indicating the origin of each supplier and workshop with which we collaborate, here is an example for our women's tank top.
