Recycled, upcycled or eco-designed materials

We favor recycled materials to avoid producing what already exists and to promote an innovative and responsible approach in the design of our models.

Our slippers, mules and espadrilles

Wool

It comes from Bigagli in Italy, a wool specialist since 1973: a soft and warm recycled wool, certified Global Recycled Standard. It is composed of 50% recycled wool, 20% virgin wool and 30% polyester.

For each kg of recycled wool produced, 500L of water and 50kg of CO2 are saved!

Italian suede leather

We selected it from Gruppo Mastrotto in Italy, an international reference in high-end leather, recognized for its good environmental practices and the quality of its leathers (Leather Working Group Gold rated; ISO 14001:2015 certified; Oeko Tex certified; Blauer Engel labeled)

Sherpa wool

Our sherpa wool is a 100% natural and high-end wool that comes from Poveda Textil in Spain. It has been worked to give this "sherpa" aspect, recognizable with its curls.

Corduroy

Our corduroy comes from Poveda Textil in Spain. It is made of polyester and polyamide to combine softness, strength and lightness. It is ideal for slippers, and we are exploring more ecological alternatives while ensuring quality and durability.

Bamboo terry

Our terry cloth comes from Poveda Textil in Spain and is made of 70% bamboo fiber and 30% recycled polyester. Bamboo is a plant that requires little water, no fertilizers or pesticides. Its fibers are light, extremely resistant and naturally antibacterial.

Recycled cotton

Our recycled cotton comes from Poveda Textil in Spain and is made of 50% recycled cotton (GRS certified) and 50% natural cotton. The combination of these two types of cotton allows for greater sustainability.

Our pajamas

Cotton & Tencel knit

It comes from Matias & Araujo in Portugal. This blend of 70% Tencel (ecological fiber from wood cellulose) and 30% organic cotton (certified Organic Content Standard).

The result? High-end quality, a silky touch and incredible softness.

Oxford in Tencel

It comes from Somelos in Portugal, a family business founded in 1958. The Tencel fibers, here certified Lenzing, come from wood cellulose. Tencel is a product in a quasi-closed loop circuit. Tencel is a soft, hypoallergenic and breathable material.

Organic cotton

Our organic cotton comes from Somelos in Portugal and is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard. Unlike conventional cotton, organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers or GMOs. Grown on soils rich in organic matter, it requires less watering and is not harmful to soil quality or human health.
