The Story Behind Our Velvet Slippers
These are not our first velvet slippers; in fact, we previously released a ribbed model that you loved!
For this new slipper, we've swapped corduroy velvet for smooth velvet. Our inspiration is rooted in the traditional Italian Friulane model. We've adapted the shape of our usual wool slipper to this 100% cotton smooth velvet. It's a tribute to Italy's mythical style, reimagined with Angarde's modernity.
Our models are available for men, women, and children. We don't yet offer baby slippers, but please let us know if you're interested in this product!
Like all our shoes, these slippers are carefully made by our usual partner in Spain, using European raw materials (Italy, Portugal). You'll find our iconic ivory-white sole, the same one used on our espadrilles and mules!
What colors are on offer this season?
Unlike our corduroy velvet slippers with soft colors (pale pink, ivory, black...), we've opted for deep colors: navy blue, solar yellow, burgundy, vibrant blue, and forest green. Each Friulane model is sold per pair (unit price displayed in EUR) or as a duo on our online store (perfect for a gift!).
We used the same velvet when making our accessories: pair your Friulane slipper with one of your favorite velvet accessories to create a personalized and unified gift!
Is a summer shoe version planned?
Absolutely! For the new Summer 2026 collection, we're launching an espadrille version for women, still inspired by the Friulane and with our usual model. It features a thin jute braid and gourmet colors: blueberry blue, pistachio green, and raspberry pink.
The Manufacturing of Our Shoes
Our slippers, winter mules, summer mules, and espadrilles are manufactured in our usual workshop in Spain, a family workshop with over 25 years of expertise in shoemaking. Working directly with our producers allows us to eliminate unnecessary steps and offer products at fair prices.

Our selection of shoes is available on our website all year round. During the autumn-winter season, slipper models are also available in our store in Paris. For warmer periods, we suggest consulting our ranges of lightweight mules and espadrilles (including our new Friulane espadrille).
