Organic cotton is one of our favorite materials because it’s gentle on kids' skin and environmentally friendly. Easy to slip on with elastic straps, these shoes are perfect for children, available in a variety of colors such as beige, pink, black, orange, and white.

For the first time this year, we’ve introduced a collection of kids' slippers made from terrycloth, matching our adult models for men and women. This unisex range is perfect for both little girls and boys, available in soft or vibrant colors like white, beige, coral, green, navy, and sky blue. These materials are both ethical and responsible because we believe that even for children’s shoes, we must show commitment to sustainability. The kids’ espadrilles are a great alternative to sneakers in the summer—they stay secure on little feet without laces or Velcro, and they’re lighter than boots or sneakers! Ideal for warm weather... This summer model is completely vegan, with all materials derived from plants.

Angarde slippers for kids

Our kids’ slippers are made from wool or velvet, sourced from ethical and responsible conditions. These slippers come in a wide range of colors that suit both boys and girls, including navy, red, beige, pink, and even fun prints like jungle patterns in camel and brown shades. Some models feature a colorful suede leather patch at the toe, adding a fun and playful touch.

Wool is an eco-friendly material because it’s thermo-regulating, antibacterial, odor-resistant, and easy to maintain—it can also be recycled. Some of these designs are mini versions of our adult models for women or men, such as the beige navy or beige-powder pink slippers, or the entire velvet collection. Matching slippers for the whole family can create a charming effect! For example, the khaki velvet slippers are available for the entire family and are suitable for children around two and a half years old (not recommended for babies).

We are also excited about our collaborations with L'Arrangeuse, Smallable, and Émoi Émoi. These partnerships focus on shared values of ethics, eco-friendly materials, and responsible production, offering designs for both boys and girls.

How to choose eco-responsible shoes for kids?

It all depends on the season when you’re buying your children’s slippers or espadrilles. If it’s summer, look for breathable materials like organic cotton to keep your child comfortable without slipping, as these fabrics are highly absorbent.

Some children’s sandals can be difficult to fasten with metal buckles or elastic bands that stretch out. With espadrilles, your child can run and play just like in sneakers, but with the added benefits of being lightweight and breathable.

For winter, we recommend soft slippers lined with organic cotton, as it keeps the absorbent properties of cotton while adding a layer of softness. Wool soles are also ideal for this season as they’re soft and odor-resistant. If you’re looking for vegan slippers, we suggest our velvet slippers, made entirely of velvet and cotton. The suede leather patch adds a subtle touch of color, but unlike the leather found on boots or booties, it’s a soft, non-smooth leather.

Material choice is crucial when looking for eco-responsible and ethical footwear. For some, the priority may be using only vegan materials, while for others, it's about knowing the manufacturing methods and ensuring they’re ethical. Some people also avoid certain materials like polyester. For us, to offer an ethical collection means it must reflect all these concerns, aligning with the ecological values of our customers and consumers.

Whether you’re choosing shoes for outdoor or indoor use, consider the colors of your child’s existing wardrobe to match tones. Also, think about how your child will use the shoes—if they’re replacing sneakers most of the time, these models aren’t intended for active sports. Where to Buy Angarde Shoes for Kids?

Our slippers and espadrilles for children are available on our e-shop with home delivery. Match your child's pair with the adult version to create coordinated family looks. Kids' espadrilles are priced at €39 up to size 29, and €45 for sizes 30 to 34. For teenagers, we recommend referring to our adult women’s or men’s models.

Our shoes are easy to care for: espadrilles can go in the washing machine, although we recommend washing them separately from your clothes. Slippers just need an occasional wipe with a cloth. If a stain appears, a little soap and water will do the trick. Delivery is free on orders over €90.
