For the creation of our women's slip-on sneakers and men's slip-on sneakers, our founders Astrid and Alexandre drew inspiration from their native region: the Basque Country. We took the iconic slip-on model, inspired by surf culture, and turned it into a chic and premium loungewear sneaker.

This sneaker stands out with its thick sole, which gives it a strong character while remaining minimalist to match all your outfits!

Smart composition: suede leather and microfiber

Unlike classic cotton models, our slip-on is made of Italian suede leather for a smart sporty look and a clean style.

For the upper, we selected Italian suede leather known for its exceptional suppleness and velvety feel. The lining of our slip-on sneakers is made of very soft and, above all, highly breathable microfiber. This allows you to wear your Ellis slip-ons in summer, with or without socks. As for the insole, it is removable and made of recycled latex and antibacterial microfiber for easy hygiene and maintenance throughout the seasons.

This choice of materials makes Ellis a durable sneaker that adapts to all occasions!

Can you wear slip-on sneakers without socks?

That's entirely possible, and even recommended with our Ellis model! Thanks to our breathable and antibacterial microfiber lining, moisture is wicked away naturally. It's an excellent alternative to ballet flats or loafers during the summer season, offering a constant feeling of freshness.

What is the origin of Angarde slip-on sneakers?

Historically, Angarde has been known for its ultra-comfortable espadrilles and slippers, designed in France. Our mission has always been to create products where you feel "at home, everywhere." Given the success of our homewear universe, it seemed natural to us to develop a more urban loungewear range.

The Ellis were designed to offer you a model that retains the comfort and flexibility of our slippers, while adopting the codes of a chic suede sneaker. This is the logical evolution of our expertise, moving from indoors to outdoors without ever sacrificing the well-being of your feet.

After the success of our espadrilles (for men, women, and children) and our mules with their white rubber soles, slip-on sneakers were born from a simple desire: to extend that comforting "at-home" feeling to all your outings. The production of our new slip-on sneakers

At Angarde, the production of our sneakers is a true story of comfort. To design the Ellis model of our new collection, we sourced the best materials to offer you a unique experience with every step. Far from a simple summer canvas shoe, our slip-on features premium Italian suede leather, a memory foam insole, a microfiber lining, and a thick white rubber outsole.

As with the production of our other shoe models (espadrilles, mules, slippers...), they are made in Spain in a traditional workshop. We have taken every detail into account to create a whole new type of product that remains very close to our world: ultra-comfortable and practical slip-on sneakers for men and women.

We designed this pair of slip-on sneakers to naturally integrate into your lifestyle, with no boundaries between home and outdoors. Their minimalist design allows you to easily adopt them for going out or to work, adding a chic and casual touch to your outfit.
